UTAH!!

So we are in Utah now going on our third week, Brilee and I are having a blast with family, but we are super excited to have Brian come out to be with us. We have done plenty of shopping, visited, and stayed up late. We also went to the tabernacle Christmas Concert which was fabulous! Singer Natalie Cole performed and author David Mccullough did a narration. My two younger sisters begin their annual Christmas Nutcracker Ballet performances this week. Brian get here Saturday, yea!!! Merry Christmas to Everyone, and Happy Holidays!

I will post pictures when I get home :)

FaLL SeAsoN!

I really enjoy the fall, the weather is usually mild, and the colors are beautiful. I was wondering when the leaves were going to change, and this las week they really changed. These trees are at Brian's school, and I thought the colors were just beautiful. Fall is the gate to all the holidays, I love it!!

Cutest Witch of the Midwest!

This year Brilee is a little witch for Halloween, and I must say she is the cutest little thing, pictures don't do her justice!

Halloween Party!

We kicked off the Halloween season with our first party with the JRC. We had a good time. We did a chili/soup cook off, costume contest, doughnut eating contest(I took second, and felt so sick after), and a game where you see how many marshmellows you can stick in your mouth, and be able to say "Chubby Bunny", Brian won the guys. It was a great night, and we had lots of fun, and ate way to much!

Pumpkin Patch!

Although she looks really cold, she had
a great time!

We had a playgroup where we went to a local pumpkin patch. It was a super cold day, but not cold enough that I would miss a chance to go out and do something. They also had hay rides, which Brilee loved, she like that we got pulled by a tractor. We had a good time!

St. Louis Trip!

This was at the childrens museum she was being a
judge! So cute.
Tori and her little baby Alexis at the apple
orchard.
Brilee and Tori looking at the animals at the zoo.

So I finally found my adapter for my camera to download pictures, so I had a ton of catching up to do. My dear friend Tori and her family live in St. Louis which only a 5 hour drive from Topeka, so I went and stayed for a few days. We enjoyed staying up late and chatting and hanging out. We went to the zoo, which was huge and fabulous, and absolutely FREE!! We enjoyed picking apples at a local orchid, and went to an amazing childrens museum. We had a great time, thanks Tori for letting us come and visit.

Random Pictures in Kansas!

Brilee loving the train at the water park we enjoyed
going to.
SEXY! need I say more....
Brilee hanging out in her bike trailer. We have been
able to go on a few rides since we've moved and she
enjoys them.
Brilee helped me make lasagne, she loved sprinkling
the cheese on. She also likes to wear her little apron,
I love that little face.
Brilee and Grandma Lindquist. Dianna was able to
come out and visit us for a few days.
The biggest shuttlecock ever. We went to an art
museum in Kansas City and they had a few of these
on the grass out front. We love badmitton, so we just
had to take a picture.
Family picture by a huge water fountain at a big outlet
mall.

Nauvoo

Mrs. John A. Lindquist is Brian's Grandma, this plaque was inside the gunsmith shop in Nauvoo.
Brian and Brilee standing in front of the gunshop. John Browning is Brian's Great grandfather, very cool!
Brilee and Pa Pa.
Me and sister Jen! Our hair is a little wild from the rain and
humidity!

When we moved out my family came with us and we were able to make it up to Nauvoo. We had a good time touring the sites. We were also able to do a session in the temple, it was such a beautiful temple. It is neat how it is built in the way it would have looked back then, with the hardwood floors and grand staircases. he are some pictures from the trip.

Hogle Zoo

I found this picture from right before we left Utah when we went to Hogle Zoo with my family. I thought it was so cute.

Fun Filled Day!

Well I haven't found my adapter to the camera, but we switched to Verizon and got new phones. So luckily the phone takes pretty good pictures, and now I can share some pictures of what we are up to. ENJOY!

Yesterday, September 12, was Topeka's 14th annual duck race! There was 10,515 duck in the race, so my chances of winning a prize was pretty slim! The first duck to cross won a ford mustang, they had awesome prizes. They had free activities for the kids, so we mad a day of it. They also had the annual Huff n Puff, where they let tons of hot air ballons off into the sky, we had a great time!

Beautiful Brilee!

When my mother-in-law came to visit, we did some pretty good shopping! We found the cutest kids store in Lawrence and we found this dress we couldn't pass up!

Royals Game

The first Friday in September we were able to go to a Kansas City Royals MLB game with a bunch of friends from the JRC. We had a great time! The stadium was huge, and they had tons of huge fountains on the backside of the field. It was also dollar night, so drinks, hot dogs, and peanuts were all one dollar. Brilee had a blast with all the other kids, and she loved to dance to all the music. We stayed to watch fireworks, which turned out to be quite a bummer, it was so humid, and the smoke got so thick from the fireworks, we couldn't see the fireworks, and they would've been something, the poor companies that sponsored the fireworks! It was a great night!

UPDATE!

Sorry to all for the delay in an update. I have not come across the adapter to the camera that allows me to download pictures from the camera! So sorry no pictures yet!

We are settling in our new home! I am pretty much out of boxes, yeah! My family helped us move out here, thank goodness. Our caravan of vehicles took us about 16-17 hours (which we did in two days) to get here to Topeka, and then another 5 hours to unload!

We took a day to chill, and then we went up to Nauvoo, which was another 5 hours, but we had a great time, touring, and attending the temple (BEAUTIFUL!)

We spent a day in Kansas City shopping!

And the sad day came, when the family had to leave, the saddest part about it was Brilee bawling as she watched them all drive away in the car! Not fun at all!!

So anyways, Brilee and I are getting ourselves familiar with Topeka. The people are great! The library is fabulous, Brilee could stay there all day!

There is a group out her called the JRC (Jay Reuban Clarke Society) which is a group for LDS law students and their families. Without them I would have gone crazy, I have made some great friends. The Wives get together for playgroup, and girls night, so that has been good!

Where we live it is very walker/runner friendly, and everyone exercises out here, it's great! So I am trying to keep up with the running, but it's not working out that great, I think I rather just go walking! I like to take Brilee out in the mornings, we went up to a nice neighborhood above where we live and they acutally have decent hills! I am actually kind of sore from going up and down them.

Anyways, that is an update about what's happening, and I will work on finding the adapter so I can post some pictures!!

Key Largo

Our last night on vacation our waitress was kind enough
to take our picture on the dock. They had the best key
lime pie I have ever tasted!

This is a huge moth, and I mean huge! It was on our
snorkeling boat, and as I got done taking it's picture
it decided to fly and land directly on my head!

We stayed a day after the cruise in Miami, so we rented a car and drove down to the first key, which is Key Largo. We had a great time snorkeling seeing all sorts of fish, and a reef shark, and tons of little annoying jelly fish.

Nassau, Bahamas

Our last stop on the cruise was Nassau, which is the capital of  the Bahamas. They have one of the largest hotel/resorts called Paradise Island. We were able to go interact with dolphins, and see the huge aquarium.

Coco Cay

Our first stop on the cruise was coco cay a little island in the bahamas, the water was nice and warm, the food was good, and it was fun just to relax.

Happy Vacation/Anniversary!

So we got talked into going on a tour of Miami's bay, and
you get to see all these famous peoples mansion, the silly things
we do! There was so many of them I could only remember this house
when I was looking through the picture, it is Jackie Chans house!

We did have a good time cruisin the bay in the
evening breeze!

Brian soaking up the sun on South Beach.

So we have been able to earn a few point by using our credit card, and we decided to take one last big trip before we are stuck in law school for a few years, and since our 4th wedding anniversary is coming up in August, we thought we would take a little trip to Miami and the Bahamas, just the two of us! We had a blast, and only missed Brilee the last couple days. We were able to stay in Miami a couple days before our three night cruise that took us to Coco Cay, and Nassau. I recommend a cruise to everybody, just plan on gaining a few pounds!

Yea for Stacie!!!

All the girlfriends striking a pose, Stacie looked
gorgeous in her dress!
All the tracksters!

My awesome Friend Stacie just got married this month, it was such a wonderful day, and so fun to be with all my good friends. Stacie got married in the Draper temple, and then had a wonderful dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial in Salt Lake. It was good to see everyone again.
