Brian and I met in August or September of 2004, we dated for nine months, and engaged for three. We were married August 13, 2005 in the Bountiful Temple. We met up on the Weber State track team, where I was a runner, and he was a thrower. He asked if he could have a little kiss on our first date, I said yes and the rest is history. It was fun to be able to compete together, and travel all over on track trips, he was definitely my biggest fan!
I ended my track career in 2006, but not before capturing the Indoor 800 meter run Big Sky Conference title. Brian is competing in his last year of track, and he is doing amazing.
On December 3, 2007 after nine long months we gave birth to a beautiful 7lbs. 8oz. baby girl. We named her Brilee (just sound it out Bri then lee) it's a mixture of Brian and my name. After nine long weeks of recovery, I was finally able to enjoy being a mom, and it really is the most rewarding thing. Brian is a great dad, and loves his little girl.
I am slowly getting back into shape, and I am also coaching Sandridge Junior High track it's a fun thing to do.
