Brilee enjoyed wearing her new pink muley crazy hat from Ken's work.

We were able to Make a trip down to southern Utah to visit my brother and sister-in-law. We were supposed to make it down the day after Christmas but the roads were to slick, so we went down on Saturday. There was about 8 slide offs that we saw just from Ogden to Layton, and stupid people still drive seventy. Anyways we had a lot of fun. We hung out in St. George, went on a cool drive and saw tons of deer. We had a great time, plus it was a little warmer then up north.

Christmas Day Fun

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was really long, but fun. We started our day at just after seven in the morning, we had to wake up Brilee, and first things first she had to have a bottle. It was fun to see her open the presents, and then panic when we couldn't get the toy out of the wrapper soon enough. We stopped off at my parents opened presents, then headed up to Brian's parents for brunch, and ended our day at Brian's uncles house for a big Christmas dinner. We had a great time!

Oh Christmas Tree!

Well it's official this is by far the biggest Christmas tree we have had. Brian takes us down to the tree lot and he walks by the tree and if it is only a foot or so above his head then it's to small, so since he's 6' 6'' the 7-8 footers are too small. So this tree was just perfect, even though it takes most of our small front room(good thing the ceiling is vaulted), we have enjoyed it!

OUR LITTLE PRINCESS TURNS ONE!

I can't believe our baby Brilee is one today. The year flew by. It has been fun to see the different stages of growth. We had a Little Princess Party for Brilee. She had a lot of fun, and so did I.

Singing Happy Birthday

EATING CAKE

Brilee was very lady like when she ate her cake. She would put her little fingers in it and take a tiny amount of cake and put it in her mouth. She would say MMMMMM!  She really quite enjoyed it, and if anyone tried to move the cake, she would get mad, watching her eat her cake was my favorite.

Opening Presents

Brilee I think was a little overwhelmed by all the presents, and little cousins. She would open a present and try to play with it, and wouldn't want to open anymore. She also didn't like sharing any of her new toys with her cousins.

Matching Boots!

Brilee got the cutest little boots for her birthday from her aunt Kat, and I got some at the crazy day after Thanksgiving sale. We were modeling them!

Family Night at the Lights!

On Monday December first we went with my mom and sisters to down town ogdens Christmas Village. It was a perfect night, not to cold. Brilee loved all the lights. Also we took a picture of my sister Jennifer by a banner of the Nutcracker, she is the ballerina on it, very cool! If anyone would like to go to the ballet it is the weekend of the 5-6, and 13-14 something like that it will be fun, both my sisters are performing in it.

Decorating Pumpkins

Our neighbor invited us over for a halloween party, and they had a pumpkin for all the kids to decorate, even Brilee. She loved it she went to town with the marker, but then she tried to eat it, it was a ton of fun.

The Elk got Away for one more year!

Brian, my dad, and I went hunting this past weekend up by Bear Lake. It was a blast. We hiked up a mountain in complete dark, and then the snow came. The views were incredible, and we did see some elk, but we had spike only tags, and we only saw the big ones! We weren't smart enough to take the camera up with us, but we have the memories. We left Brilee with my mom, and we were so excited to get back to her, and I captured this precious moment of her Daddy reading one of Brilee's favorite books!

Family Pictures

We finally got our family pictures done, and they turned out real nice. Shauna Eskelson did them, and she did a great job. Here is a sample of what she took. If you want to go to her website it's eskelphotography.com.
