Where to begin, I cant believe more than 2 months has passed since I blogged. We got to spend 6 weeks in Utah for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We went out for Thanksgiving because my cute sister Kat got married, it was so fun to be there for that special occasion. We had a great time with the girls this Christmas, they are both at fun ages. I am getting used to having two kids now, and things are getting a little easier to manage.

Brian and I were able to do some fun things while we were there, we went to see movies, we got to go overnight without kids, we also went to the Jazz game and sat on the 8th row, what a difference it makes. We just loved hanging out with family, staying up late, playing games, and eating lots of yummy food!

Sorry the picture is so small, but I just have to say I love these girls!!!!

Picture of our family on Thanksgiving Day. We had a good time with Brians family.

We celebrated Brilee's third birthday in Utah she had a good time with family, especially her little cousins. For some reason when it came to blowing out the candle she go all sad. Thanks to Kats wedding cake, we were able to make a few changes and it made a super cute birthday cake!

Cute little sisters hanging out!!

Brilee had her first haircut while we were in Utah, thanks to her wonderful Aunt Ashlie.

The boys off on their annual rabbit hunt, they always have a good time!!!

Enjoying our date to the Jazz game

I also love these girls, it was so fun getting together will quite a few of my college running girls, it is so fun to remember the college days, and to see where everyone is now, and we enjoyed delicious food thanks to Stacie!!

Before I left Utah I chopped my hair off, and went a little darker, so far I am loving the change.

Also when we got back to Topeka we took the family to Kansas City for a night where we went to an indoor swimming park, we had a great time, and little Karlee experienced swimming for the first time, she loved it!!

Where does the time go?

Wow, sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I have been trying to adjust to having to kids, and oh boy has it been an adjustment! I went out to Utah 3 weeks after I had Karlee, I needed a little extra help to get me through the tired/recovery period. We had a great time with family, and it was nice for everyone to be able to see Karlee while she was still really little.

Now we are back in Topeka and we are adjusting well. Karlee is such a good baby, which is such a blessing! She sleeps from 8:30/9:00 p.m to 6:00/7:00a.m. So I feel like I have enough energy during the day to function, I also have been able to start running and working out which makes me feel good. Karlee is growing so fast, she is starting to smile alot and baby talk, so fun! Brilee is a great big sister and loves her little sis. It will be fun to watch them grow up together. Brian is such a great daddy, he loves his little girls. He is doing well in school, and has started a part time job at a local law firm. Life is busy, but Life is good!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

We are pleased to announce we have another beautiful baby girl. She arrived at 11:50a.m on August 17, 2010, weighing in at 7lbs. 7oz. and 20 and 3/4 inches. She has dark hair and just so cute!

I was induced on the 17th, I went to the hospital at 7a.m, so early especially when Brilee decided to pull an all nighter. At 7:20 the doctor broke my water, and then they started the petocin at 8:30 it wasn't to bad at first, because the nurse gradually increased the petocin every 20 minutes so it was easier to get used to the contractions. It was also nice because I was able to walk the halls which helped ease the pain of the contractions. At about 10:30 my contractions were getting pretty strong so I went and got checked and I was dilated to a 5, which coming into the hospital I was at a 2. Then at 11:30 I got checked again because I was feeling more pressure, and I was dilated to a 7. The nurse figured it would be really soon after, and within 15 minutes I new it was time, I felt like I had to push and sure enough I was at a 10. They had to yell for the doctor to get in there now! Within two-three minutes of pushing are sweet little girl was here. Brian and I were both pretty surprised that it was a girl.

We had a hard time naming her, and it wasn't till the last day that we were in the hospital that we decided on Karlee Marie Lindquist. She is such a good baby and so fun to have in our home, Brilee is getting used to being a big sister each day. My recovery is going much smoother than last time, thank goodness! We also have had my family out her for the past week, and they have been such a great help. I am going to miss them!

Back in Topeka

Brian went on a fishing trip on the Green River
with his Dad and brother-in-law Jason. They
had a great time!

We got to go to Brian's grandmothers 90th
birthday party, it was pretty fancy.
I turned 26 while we were there!
Getting ready for fireworks!
Brilee watching the parade, she loved it.
Brilee got to ride with Brian on Pa Pa's tractor
in the little church parade my parents ward did.

We have been back now for a couple of weeks, we miss family, but it has been nice to be in our own home. We have gotten a ton of organizing done, and putting together the baby's room. I am getting more and more excited to see what we are having. I have been to the doctors a couple of times, but no progress yet. We are staying busy and having fun while Brian is still out of school. I have posted some of the pictures from our trip to Utah.

Anniversary Part 2!

So we were able to go for our overnighter this last week. Brian wouldn't tell me where we were staying. To start off our day we went and did a session at the Bountiful temple, which is where we got married. It was a great way to start off our getaway. He then took me to Salt Lake, and he made me close my eyes just like the day we got married, and when I opened them we were at the Grand America Hotel. We had a great room with two balconies. We were able to go to a movie and dinner, and the next day we relaxed by the pool and went to the spa, I am now a fan of facials, and I am convinced that one of these days I am going to have to stay a whole day at the spa and get all the treatments! It was fabulous! Thanks Brian, your the BEST!

Wonderful Husband!

SO I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I told him this year that he needed to plan our 5th year anniversary, and I told it would be wise if we celebrated early while we are here in Utah so we have babysitters. Today he planned a trip to Salt Lake City and didn't tell me where we were going, our destination was a big music/instrument store. He had done his homework and found this place, made an appointment with a lady there for me to come in and get a new violin. I have had my other one since I was eleven, and really needed a better quality one. I have also been wanting to pick back up on this talent so I won't lose it. The lady was very nice she gave us our own little room for me to test like 7 violins, and Brian sat there and listened to me play, which I might say I am kind of rusty, and he would tell me his opinion. He was really excited for me and really helpful. I ended up getting a beautiful violin and picked out a bunch of music to work on. I am so thankful for a loving, supporting, caring, and thoughtful husband! Thanks for the most wonderful 5 years!!!

Back in Utah

We are here in Utah for most of the summer. I brought my camera, but didn't bring the piece to download, it was just one more thing to pack and one more thing to lose:). We have been here for a few weeks now, we made the 16ish hour trek in our car, good thing Brilee is a good at traveling! I am not looking forward to the drive home, when I am 35+ weeks. My belly is growing quickly, and the baby is pretty active, not quite as active as Brilee was. It is so interesting to see the differences between the pregnancies.

We were able to take a trip up to Park City which was fun, especially shopping!! We have been hanging out with family and just chillin. Brian is enjoying his internship with the Ogden City Prosecutor, and he is already more than half-way through his hours, yea, I am excited for him to be done so we can play more.

We are also trying to potty train Brilee, wow, not much fun! I guess it will be worth it when she is good to go all by herself.

So thats a little update of what we have bee up to.

Utah Trip!!

My sweet Grandma and I.
Brilee and Great Grandma, Brilee didn't like the camera this trip!

Brilee love playing with her little cousin Max!

Brilee and I were able to go to Utah for a couple of weeks. We had a good despite a few bumps along the way. I had sinus problems the whole trip which made life a little miserable. My Grandma from England was supposed to come in the day after I did, but due to the volcano in Iceland she wasn't able to come for over a week after that. So I only got to see her for a few days, but I was so glad that I did get to see her. Brilee loved hanging out with Great Grandma. It was fun to see everyone, family is great.
