Brilee is getting so big, so full of energy, and naughtiness, it is a good thing she is cute!

I have the best and most supportive husband in the whole world. Brian helped me with my training, allowing me to take time to run my long runs, he even road his bike along giving me water and food! He was so excited for me to reach my goal of finishing the marathon. He bought me the coolest running outfit for mother's day to wear in the marathon. He was all over the course, cheering me on at mile 11, 13, 23, and the Finish Line!

Mile 13, I am actually smiling right now, I was feeling pretty good.

The marathon was a great experience and I am so glad that I did it. My goal was 3 hours and 45 minutes, and I ran it in 3 hours and 42 minutes, goal accomplished! So I am happy to say this was my first and last marathon!

My sister Jen had her last High School dance Senior Cottilion. The cool thing was that she was up for royalty. She looked beautiful, and I am a little proud, of her hair, it was my best up do yet!  I can't believe she is a senior, and she will be graduating, way to go Jen.

I know it's a little late, but better late then never! We had a great Easter, it was fun to spend lots of time with all our wonderful Family.

Egg Hunt #1

We barely made it over to the Harrisville Park at 9:00a.m. for the easter egg hunt. At first Brilee wasn't sure what to do, but when she saw us putting things in her basket she thought that was pretty cool, and then she went to town. It was a ton of fun.

Egg Hunt #2

Our sweet neighbor Marilyn, whom is like another mother to us invited us to lunch with her family, and then she wanted Brilee to participate in the egg hunt she puts on for her grandkids. There were so many eggs, and the eggs even had money in them, Brilee got $5.75, we put it in her piggy bank. It was lots of fun, and the other kids liked to help Brilee find the eggs.

This was the egg hunt Brian and I put on for her, or should I say just me. I hid eggs for Brian to find as well, he never did egg hunts when he was growing up so I introduced him to them. Lots of fun!!

This was her fourth egg hunt over at grandma and grandpa Jackson's, she loved finding eggs. Sometimes when we go outside now she still says egg, like every day is supposed to be Easter, she loves the candy!

Best Shopping Trip Yet!!

So I have been trying to do this pinching your penny coupon shopping, and I think I am finally getting the hang of it. I have a little more work to do, but I was so excited when I got my total grocery bill, I bought 5 boxes of cereal, 3 Kraft salad dressings, 2 Fiber one Pop Tarts, 1 frosting, 1 betty crocker dessert, 1 10lb. bag of potatoes, broccoli, 2 grill mates seasoning, 2 boxes of wheat thins, 2 boxes of fruit snacks, 10 yoplait yogurt, 2 frozen vegetables, and a 1 2lb. Tillamook cheese. For a grand total of 24.99, that is like a 66% savings! I just had to make a post because I was so excited!! I know call me lame!
